The Terracom TERRA-IEX is an IP, POE (Power over Ethernet) audio encoder/decoder which can be used on any existing network for all kinds of audio reinforcement, background music and paging.

This encoder/decoder can be used to connect all kinds of audio sources to your network for Audio Over IP systems. Input or output digitised audio from a network and provide an analogue output with I/O. Simultaneous encoding/decoding of audio enables bi-directional and full duplex communication operating as an audio source for an IP network.

Integrated shoutcast/icecast decoding, scheduler and internal storage are just some of the features of this IP module.

Configuration, control and monitoring is achieved via your favourite web browser.

The TERRA-IEX has 2 x mic/line balanced inputs, 1 x stereo or 2 x mono outputs, 3 x contact inputs, 1 x contact output, 1 x RS232. Internal 80MB storage is provided for recording / message storage.

Also available with USB2.0 interface for music or message storage.
A further version is available with USB2.0 and RS485 instead of RS232.
