The LD Systems STINGER 28 A G3 active 2-way loudspeaker is designed for long-term reliability. The multi-purpose design bass reflex cabinet can be used as a full range speaker, satellite and ground monitor ideal for both mobile and fixed PA systems.

The integral, highly efficient, Class D amplifier offers a powerful 500 watts RMS output. It drives two custom designed 8” woofers and a BMS compression driver delivering a punchy low end and smooth, crisp highs.

The wave guide of the tweeter has been developed using the Boundary Element Method (BEM), a numerical simulation of the sound radiation and dispersion. It reduces reflections from the floor and ceiling and prevents sidelobe levels and thus achieves a controlled and homogeneous dispersion. Phase plugs are situated directly in front of the two 8” woofers to ensure midrange efficiency is increased and harmonic distortion above the crossover frequency is reduced.

LD Systems’ proprietary DynX® DSP technology ensures top-level performance with maximum clarity and punch at all times. Processing includes crossover and multiband limiter functions for accurate time alignment and pristine, distortion-free audio.

The STINGER 28 A G3 is designed as a real all-round workhorse. The cabinet is made from robust birch plywood and offers exceptional stability and durability thanks to its extremely durable polyurea coating and steel grille. Mounting and handling is facilitated by the Dual-Tilt stand attachment, flight points and ergonomic handles.
