Baldwin Boxall BVOCA2G
The Baldwin Boxall BVOCA2G Advance Disabled Refuge outstation is designed for use with the Omnicare loop-wired emergency voice communication system.
This 'Advance' version of the outstation features an integral induction loop and has tactile and luminescent text as well as Braille. The large call button is also illuminated by a high intensity LED ring.
The rugged and distinctive green metal outstation enables two way hands free communication between someone in a disabled refuge area and the person operating the control panel.
During an evacuation process in the case of a fire or other emergency, the outstations are activated by the fire panel to prevent hoax calls at other times. However, the EVC outstation can permanently active if preferred.
Please note that for systems used for ‘fire fighting’ that fire rated enhanced four-core cable should be used (exceptions exist, please refer to BS5839-9:2011 for full details or download the ‘Relevant Standards Summary‘ information in the downloads tab).
